Eran Görgen will continue as CEO in charge of Signify Turkey and Maghreb (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Libya).

Goktuğ Gür will serve as Signify Regional President and Ceo of Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Pakistan in the new term.

Signify has made changes to its superstruct structure by combining the African Market with the Middle East, Turkey and Pakistan (METAP). With this change, Signify will have a larger operational structure and aims to provide better and more comprehensive service to its customers.

Signify, the world leader in lighting, changed its global organizational structure consisting of the Middle East, Turkey and Pakistan (METP) and included the African market among these countries. Signify aims to grow sustainably on the African continent with the new structure.

With the change of organization, Signify Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Pakistan Regional President and Ceo Göktuğ Gür will continue to manage his region from Dubai as Regional President and Ceo of Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Pakistan (METAP).

In line with these changes, it was decided to merge the Maghreb region (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Libya) with Turkey. Signify's Country Manager for Turkey, Eran Görgen, will now be in charge of Turkey and maghreb regions.

Who is Eran Görgen?
Eran Görgen graduated from Marmara University Mechanical Engineering Department in 2001 and completed his master's degree in Engineering Management at the same university. Görgen started his career at Philips Turkey in 2000 and later achieved many successful projects in sales and marketing in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and the Netherlands. For many years, he served as Philips Lighting Central and Eastern Europe Marketing Director and then General Manager of Philips Lighting Turkey. As of 2018, he continued to serve as General Manager of Signify Turkey with the transfer of Philips Lighting to Signify.In the coming period , Eran Görgen will continue to serve as CEO in charge of Signify Turkey and Maghreb (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Libya).


Who is Goktuğ Gür?
Göktuğ Gür graduated from Yildiz Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering and completed his master's degree in Business Administration at Marmara University and the University of Maine. During his 22 years of professional work, he specialized in the Mediterranean, Central Asia and Middle East regions, including Turkey, through marketing and solution-oriented projects he signed in the energy sector.Gur started his career at a foreign trade company and worked in many management positions in a company specializing in global scale between 1996 and 2013. Göktuğ Gür, who was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Turkey's Philips, which houses the Health Services, Lighting and Consumer Products sectors between 2013 and 2016, was appointed CEO of Philips Lighting Turkey as of February 1, 2016. With the acquisition of Philips Lighting by Signify in 2018, Göktuğ Gür, who served as Signify Regional President and CEO of Middle East, Turkey and Pakistan , will serve as Signify Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Pakistan Regional President and Ceo in the new period.
