Suitable planning for large, small and medium-sized investors…
Studio Vertebra, which aims to direct the current density of the city to this region by establishing a relationship with the historical city of Bukhara from 4 main points, will build a new 65,000 m2 city center consisting of socio-cultural areas such as science center, museum, library and conference center in the middle of the Bukhara City project area and green texture. By dividing the commercial and residential islands around the center into smaller parcels, the project is planned to be suitable for investment not only for large but also for small and medium-sized investors. Residential blocks of different heights, which are positioned around the gaps created by courtyards and green spaces between the residential buildings, ensure that both the sun and wind can be taken indoors and service areas such as parking spaces are met.
Among the residential buildings, nursery and childcare centers are planned at equal distance, and there is also a commercial street consisting of commercial buildings where 1-2 storey offices will be placed on top of the ground level shopping areas and two hotel projects at two different ends.
Contemporary urban texture shaped by local culture in accordance with climatic conditions…
Studio Vertebra, which aims to improve the quality of life with the water element to be used among the structures in the region where the climatic conditions are very hot, plans to rehabilitate the existing water channel, take the water into the city and modernize the pool-building relations specific to the region, which has an important place in bukhara's historical identity, and move it between small and large pools and structures and public spaces. A nostalgic tram system for tourists, elderly and disabled individuals will also be established in the project, where the city center is completely pedestrianized by de-traffic.
The project, which will use a planning approach that preserves the city skyline and floor heights in the historical texture of Bukhara, will be shaped with colors, textures, materials and forms that refer to the symbolic historical buildings of the region. In addition, it is planned to reduce the project costs by using concrete factories and railways within the project area during the construction phase and transportation.
