Messe Frankfurt Turkey office said in a statement that we share the following statement to prevent such statements that disrupt the morale and motivation of our companies participating in Light +Building 2020 Fair from harming our sector companies.
It was emphasized that the fair will be held on the specified date and that some participating brands have withdrawn from the fair.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak that has been on the agenda all over the world in recent days, many of our participants share their concerns about Light+Building 2020 fair with us. We wanted to give you detailed information about this issue and to reach out specifically to answer the questions you have in mind. Comprehensive information:
- Light+Building 2020 will be held between 8-13 March 2020 as planned. There is no postponement.
- In accordance with the instructions given by the official health institutions, all necessary measures have been taken in the fairgrounds and the inspections continue on a regular basis.
- There is no threat of an outbreak at the Frankfurt fairgrounds. As with any organization, medical teams and clinics at the fairgrounds are ready for emergencies.
- The medical teams working at the fairgrounds will continue their work with care in order not to disturb hygienic conditions.
- Currently, there are no sanctions decisions for companies participating in the fair from China and the Far East.
- None of our participants from Turkey have requested cancellation. There is no information that reaches us about foreign participants.
- Since no state of emergency has been declared preventing participation in Light+Building 2020, participants requesting cancellation will be subject to the standard cancellation procedure.
