Tridonic's new CEO Hedwig Maes
On 1 September 2019, Austria will take over as CEO of Tridonic, the lighting technology company of the Hedwig Maes Zumbotel Group, and replace Guido va Tartwijk, who voluntarily left the company late last year. Hedwig Maes will report directly to Alfred Felder, CEO of the Zumbotel group.
Hedwig Maes, who has many experience as Managing Director and Sales General Manager, took this position that required responsibility. He studied electrical engineering at the Industrial College in Anvers – Mechelen and later in the Business Management department at the University of Anvers UFSIA. Born in Belgium, Maes has 32 years of business experience in ethronics, industrial automation and industrial systems, as well as companies such as General Electric and ABB. In the last 10 years, he has served as Vice President of Global Systems and Solutions at Rockwell Automation.
Alfred Felder explained: "We are very pleased to have won Hedwig Maes, which has international business experience and extensive strategic orientation knowledge of product and business systems, for the management of our business components. We now have an excellent management team that can manage Tridonic with CEO Hedwig Maes, CFO Thomas Erath and COO Alexander Jankovsky." He stated.
