One of the important items of lighting areas is road and street lighting. With the rapid change and development process in LED technology, the demand for LED road fixtures is also increasing in our country. In recent years, our municipalities have started to purchase LED road and street lighting fixtures, and in the following years, it is expected that all distribution companies will transform their conventional lighting products with LED products and use LED fixtures in their new purchases. Before the implementation of these projects, which are planned to achieve significant change and achieve large amounts of savings in parallel, the features that should be included and considered in the products to be used in road and street lighting should be well understood and discussed in the sector. As of the end point of LED technology, it is important to talk more about whether the amount of savings that can be made is worth it for this serious project. In light of this motivation, in this study, the design of LED road and street lighting fixtures is verified with international standards, the project of lighting with LED fixtures through the DIALux program in accordance with the road classes, the amounts of savings and reimbursement periods that can be realized
