Light, one of the cornerstones of vitality; When evaluated in terms of flux value, spectrum and duration of action, it creates an important area of examination on the compatibility of living conditions. Based on the 300-800 nm wavelength range of the electromagnetic spectrum, it is seen that many organisms have their own interaction capacity and activation. When this situation is examined for poultry, it is noticed that there are multifaceted effects of changes in the physical quantities of light.

Today, high-pressure sodium (HPS) and fluorescent lamps (CFL or LFL) are mostly used in henhouses built in the chicken breeding industry. The use of these lamps is intended for chickens and working staff living in the hen house to see the environment, and perhaps they may not even be aware of the advantages of the lamp used over the incandescent lamp or the disadvantages according to LED sources. However, each lighting source has its own unique spectrum, and not every spectrum is suitable for every environment. It would be an appropriate sampling to be clear about how much discomfort a human eye that has been in deep blue light for a long time will cause to the person.
