T.c. Gemin Lighting was awarded the good design award with "NEST" at the Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards held for the 7th time this year within the TURQUALITY® Program with the cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, the Turkish Exporters Assembly and the Industrial Designers Professional Organization.
Nest, co-designed by Omletistanbul Design Office and Geminiz R&D team, draws attention to the integrity of lighting with architect design.
More than 2,500 applications were submitted for products that are Turkish designers, brand owners or manufacturers, and designs produced in the last 3 years from 13 different sectors, from packaging to household goods, were evaluated by 30 international jurors. The competition awarded superior and good designs that take care of the needs of the user and give the product added value and competitive advantage in exports and national market. A total of 92 products and designers from 13 different categories were awarded at the award ceremony, which was organized with the participation of T.C Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan and Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) President Ismail Gulle.

The Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards are a design evaluation system organized with the collaboration of the Republic of the republic of Turkey Ministry of Economics, the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) and the Industrial Designers Society of Turkey (ETMK), within the framework of the TURQUALITY® programme.
