Applications for UEDAŞ's highly acclaimed Photography Competition 'Lights of the City' have started. The winner of the competition, which was opened for the first time this year to amateur and professional photographers internationally, will be announced on 3 October 2018.
Uludag Electricity Distribution Inc., one of the leading companies in the energy sector operating within Limak Holding. (UEDAŞ ) 'Lights of the City' is holding the 6th edition of the Photography Contest this year. The competition, which started in 2013, is the first in the sector. The competition, which will be held under the theme of "Night and Light", can be attended by anyone who is interested in the art of photography as a professional and amateur. Applications for the competition, where photos from all over the world will be accepted, are made via the www.uedas.com.tr/sehrinisiklari internet address between 15 August and 30 September. Photographers will be able to participate in the competition with a maximum of 5 photos.
THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHY OF NIGHT AND LIGHT WILL BE AWARDED
The photo that best reflects the light of the city will be given a smartphone in the competition, the second photo will be awarded with a tablet computer and the third photo will be awarded with a camera. "The 50 most beautiful photographs" selected through jury evaluation will have the opportunity to be exhibited in various parts of Turkey throughout the year.Last year, 3,821 applications were submitted to the competition, which was organized by UEDAŞ for the 6th time this year. The 50 photographs were exhibited in bursa, Balikesir, Canakkale and Yalova, the service area of UEDAŞ, as well as in many cities such as Ankara and Istanbul.
