The Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards were awarded for the eighth time this year. The ceremony awarded 62 designs and designers in 13 categories. "With our design competition, we support the original designs of talented young people by bringing together students, industrialists, academicians and entrepreneurs while increasing the creative power of the sectors. Next year's design week; By bringing together all stakeholders of the design ecosystem, we aim to make Istanbul a valuable global design brand."
T.c. Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards were also awarded within the scope of Design Week Turkey 2019 event organized to contribute to Turkey's branding with design, hosted by the Turkish Exporters Assembly with the coordination of the Ministry of Commerce. The select committee of domestic and foreign designers evaluated 286 applicants.In 13 categories, a total of 62 awards were distributed, 8 of which were outstanding, 36 were good and 18 were conceptual awards.

Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards 2019, AslıÖkmen with Arçelik's New Telve design, Tamer High with Beko's Powerclean design, Fulden Topaloglu with Studio Kali's Sama Furniture Series design, Ece Elim-Oğuz Elim with Rest design of Gemini Lighting, Fatih Özger-Şenol Duman with Kütahya Porcelain's Multicolored Meal Set design Kunter Şekercioglu-Özm Özkan-Sude Edebali with Kütahya Porcelain's Ayla Porcelain Dinner Set design, Utkan Kiziltuğ with Bürotime's Era Home Desk design, Seda Palanduz won with Orfis' Office Waiting Chair design. The award-winning brands and designers received their awards from Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan and Tim President Ismail Gulle.
