Borled, which operates within Borsan Group, Turkey's leading domestic capital industry organization, displayed a strong corporate presence at IstanbulLight 2019, which is shown as the most important sectoral meeting of the year in lighting design, solutions and products. Felio Sylvania, one of the leading companies in the global lighting products market, where Borled collaborated for production in Turkey, was also present at the fair.
Borled, the young and powerful brand of the LED and Lighting Products sector, which operates within borsan Group, the leading domestically owned company of Turkish industry, held at the Istanbul Exhibition Center between September 18th and 21st. He took part in the International Lighting & Electrical Materials Fair and Congress.
The exhibition, which brings together Turkish and international decision makers of the lighting sector ranging from participation and visitor portfolio, senior managers to project purchasing managers, architectural lighting designers to electrical contracting service companies, architects and engineers to electrical plumbers, is shown as the most important sectoral meeting of the year in its field.
Felio Sylvania, one of the leading companies in the global lighting products market, where Borled collaborated for production in Turkey, also took part in the fair and featured Borled products at its booth.
Commenting at the Borled stand, Borsan Group Chairman Adnan Oluz said that Borled, which started operations in 2017 and includes the largest lighting product laboratory in the Black Sea, has shown strong growth in the domestic and export markets and "China already has a strong position in the European market; however, factors such as changing regulations depending on the balances between countries, restrictions on finished product imports, taxes, as well as logistics elements, delivery processes strengthen the hand of our brands with high production power and therefore our country. We are among the countries preferred by important brands for production collaborations in the European market. With the impact of these opportunities, we are on the determination to continue Borled's strong growth in domestic and international markets."
Stating that IstanbulLight, the important meeting of the sector, is important in terms of keeping the pulse of the market, evaluating new commercial opportunities and providing cooperation, Adnan Oluz stated that the interest shown to Borled at the fair was gratifying and "IstanbulLight was very productive for Borled. In particular, our new generation Glop fixtures and Ethane products, which we rely on very much for their quality and efficiency, attracted attention. These new products will contribute significantly to Borled's growth."
Reminding that Borled has launched a collaboration for production in Turkey with Felio Sylvania, one of the leading companies in the global lighting products market, Adnan Oluz said, "Feilo Sylvania, a UK-based global lighting giant with organizations in more than 70 countries, is among the leading brands in the global market in the field of professional and architectural lighting solutions. In addition to the domestic market, the products produced within the scope of our cooperation will be exported to the Turkish republics market and European countries that our business partner manages from Turkey. The monetary value of the production envisaged in the first stage will be about 2 million USD. We also aim to expand our cooperation with new product families in line with market needs. Our business partner Feilo Sylvania is also participating in the IstanbulLight fair and they are also featuring our products in their booths."
