7 from November 29 to January 20. The Amsterdam Light Festival is being held in the historic city of Amsterdam. Artists from all over the world are participating in the festival, which was officially opened by Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema. Held in Amsterdam's historic city centre, the festival will bring art and light together to give visitors a unique experience. This year, the festival offers an exhibition for visitors to experience by boat, bicycle and walking. All artists were inspired by the recommendations of renowned media scientist Marshall McLuhan: 'The Medium is Message'. Guest of honor Jeroen Henneman designed the installation of Two Lamps for the exhibition, and a smaller version – A Lamp – can be produced in limited editions through the festival. For the first time, visitors will be able to vote for their favorite artworks, with the Public Prize to be awarded on the last weekend of the festival.
