Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank stated that they announced a new support program whose contents were determined as a result of extensive analysis and evaluations, and said, "We will cover the financing cost of the loans to be used by our industrialists in the sectors determined by this support program, which has a total budget of 50 million liras, as an Agency."
Minister Varank cut a ribbon in Diyarbakir, where he came for the International Diyarbakir Zerzevan Sky Observation Event, and officially opened the new service building of karacadag Development Agency. Reminding that the building was completed in April 2020 but could not be commissioned efficiently during the epidemic period, Varank stated, "Hopefully from now on, we will sign very important projects with karacadag Development Agency that will unlock the potential of our Diyarbakir."

Minister Varank, in his speech at karacadag Development Agency Strategic Manufacturing Sectors Financing Support Promotion Program, emphasized that they are supporters of every investor who adds value to the country, "As long as you focus on your business, do R&D, produce. DIGITAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION-ORIENTED PROJECTS
Varank stated that they opened the new building of karacadag Development Agency and announced the new financing support offered by the Agency for the use of manufacturing industry enterprises in Diyarbakir and Sanliurfa, adding, "With this resource to be used in digital and technological transformation-oriented projects, we will accelerate the growth of enterprises and the economy of the province."
198 MILLION DOLLAR RESOURCES FOR 562 PROJECTS
Varank informed that karacadag Development Agency has so far transferred 198 million LIRA to 562 projects from public, private and non-governmental organizations in Diyarbakir. With this support program, which has a total budget of 50 million liras, we will cover the financing cost of the loans to be used by our industrialists in the specified sectors as Agency. Thanks to this program, which will be implemented in cooperation with Vakıf Participation INC and our Agency, we will remove the financing burden from our enterprises and direct more resources to investment. In this way, we aim to create a significant loan volume."
ECONOMY REFORM PROGRAM
"We are also working on a new financing model for 5th and 6th Region investments within the scope of the Economic Reform Programme, and we will announce it with our Ministry of Treasury and Finance soon. I invite all our industrialists who meet the requirements to benefit from this program."
SUPPORT FOR 2 MORE PROJECTS
Varank said that karacadag Development Agency has so far provided 8.6 million LIRA to 6 projects from Diyarbakir within the scope of SOGEP. We will support the Women's Complex Projects of Ergani Municipality with the Break House Project for Individuals with Special Needs of Our Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality. The total budget of these two projects is about 4 million liras."
PREPARATIONS COMPLETED
Referring to the Diyarbakir Logistics Center project, which will further the potential of the province in the logistics sector, he said, "All preparations have been completed in this project, all processes of which are coordinated by our Karacadag Development Agency. We anticipate that this project, which will make Diyarbakir the distribution base of the region of about 1.2 billion liras, will create 5,400 jobs when it is completed. The tender for this project, which is planned to be turkey's largest Logistics Center, will be held on October 15th. I invite our experienced investors in the logistics sector to participate in this tender and to shoulder this project, which is diyarbakır's dream."
PROTOCOL SIGNED
Following the speeches, a protocol was signed between Vakıf Participation INC and Karacadag Development Agency for the allocation of loans to investors whose applications were eligible for the Strategic Manufacturing Sectors Financing Support program.
